Saw the headline on my MSN Direct watch earlier today...
    http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/04/25/life.gas....tion=cnn_latest
"LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- Some California drivers are resorting to desperate measures to beat the surge in gas prices at the pump -- deliberately running dry on the state's freeways and simply waiting for rescue..."

Must be Prius drivers. They always seem to be driving their cars until they run out of gas.

What a freakin' loser. Every morning you go through this routine for a gallon of gasoline? The amount of time spent planning the scheme, articulating it, calling for help, waiting, interacting with the guy, and then getting on. Just for a freakin' gallon of gas? $3.00? He probably goes out for lunch every day and smokes a pack of cigarettes while he waits for the assistance guy.

Yet another reminder that some people truly are stupid.

Wow, their time can't be worth very much. It would be better to work for minimum wage somewhere than to wait for someone to show up to give you 1 free gallon of gas.

It would make more sense if they said that people ran out of gas because they were holding out till they got to a cheaper stataion.
