I have a set of 4 Aluminum 17" Rims and matching Nexen N3000 17" Radials that I would like to sell. These rims will fit a 2004-2006 Prius and the Scion. The Nexen Radial tires are 215/45ZR17 91W. Although the rims are 1 inch larger than the stock 16" rims on the Prius, the Nexen tires are the same circumference as the 2004 - 2006 stock Prius tires so no recalibration is necessary. The nut pattern is 5 x 100 mm. These tires are also about an inch wider than the Prius stock tires which in turn gives them much better traction and handling in adverse weather conditions. They were very hard to find. The tires are almost new and have approximately 600 miles on them. 17" rims look amazing on an '05 Prius. I'm looking for $600.00 Enjoy!!

Do you have any pics of it on your car?

samoan, search this site. There are quite a number of owners here that have the tC wheels on their Prius. I can think of a Tideland and a white at the moment. There might've been a black one too.

I had taken some pictures when they were first put on but either misplaced the memory card or deleted the pictures by accident. Tideland is corrrect, I have seen a number of posters here sporting these rims. They really do look neat!!

Thanks for the link but judging from that thread it looks as if these wheels add an additional 10lbs. to each wheel. I would be concerned that it might affect the performance and the efficiency of the car.

Good luck with your sale though.

If you read more, you'll see it doesn't. Handling is far improved, the performance hit is negligible, and your efficiency is determined more by your foot. I can still get 52 mpg even with these wheels. Benefits outweigh any penalties.

The rims are located on Long Island (Nassau County), New York. Anyone purchasing is welcome to stop by and pick them up or I can have them shipped.

Oh, that might be too long a drive for me, even in the Prius. Good luck with the sale!

Your original post says that they fit the prius and scion, but the pic links seem to be missing. Are these scion wheels, or do they just have the same bolt pattern?

Can you PM me with pics or repost the pics?

and your reason for selling them is?

    Thanx

The tires were only on my car a short time (a month or so) and I unfortunately did not keep the pictures. Still you should be able to find a number of pictures of scion tires mounted on Prius' here on this site. The tires looked great ( they actually still do ) and gave a much smoother ride than the original tires (especially in the winter), but my milage was cut by around 4 mpg. The trade-off wasn't all that bad but I choose to stay with the original tires ... Hope this helps.
