FS: Used TRD Sportivo Struts/Shocks

    SOLD-SOLD-SOLD. I just replaced the TRD Sportivo front and rear struts/springs in my 2005 Prius with new ones. They have approximately 75K miles on them but still rode nice. Regardless, I felt the life span of the strut was 75K so I replaced them.

    I could not buy the TRD struts alone so I ended up with new springs too. Cost me $1,146 delivered.

    I am selling my used TRD Sportivo springs for $250; they come with the struts. I prefer local pick-up; However, they are boxed and ready for shipping if needed. Shipping not included. I am located in the San Ramon Valley of CA.

    These springs lowered the car about 3/4".

    Nice. The problem is that used shocks at 75k miles is pretty bad. I suppose if someone had over 100k miles on their original struts it might be ok to try, but still they'd be better off buying new KYBs for the same price. I know you need to get rid of them so thought you'd take a shot at selling them but I'm just putting the warming out for potential buyers. Ya dig?

    I've been thinking of the TRD package when the struts on my 2004 wear out. Obviously the struts wear out before the springs do, and any car will go through more than one set of struts in its lifetime. But if replacement TRD struts aren't available separately, that kills the deal right there. What's up with that, Toyota?

    Thanks, for playing. KYB shocks are known as "kill your back" for a reason.

    Perhaps you missed the part about I am selling the springs and they happen to come with the struts. Use them, don't use them, your call. It is the springs that are of value, as far as I am concerned.

    I believe TRD springs are just re-branded Eibach springs. Anyways you can pick up the Eibach Pro Kit for $180 w/ free shipping from Amazon.com. Plus it has a more aggressive drop (1.4"F/1.0"R) so I don't see how your springs are what's of value.

    Here you go. This is in the GII forum so I'm assuming that's what you're interested in, although your stats indicate you drive a '10.

    My lowered Prius also had oversize Bridgestone RE-01s on it, which I think is primarily responsible for filling the wheel wells. The springs really didn't lower it much at all; I would have liked just a bit more.

    The Bridgestones stuck like glue but killed the mileage, I rarely topped 40mpg in normal (for me) driving.
