Excellent mileage! Way to go. Considering that's almost 25% higher than the EPA estimates, you are an official Hypermiler. Congrats.

Nice mpg numbers and I see that you live in the warmer regions of the country. Warmer temps definitely helps. Enjoy all of your rides.

I have 9,000 miles on my car in 3 months. I guess I did alot of Summer driving and visiting around the state. I've gotten an average of 45 mpg and have had 50 mpg weeks. I have a lead foot and had to learn to slow down and enjoy life a little more. In California you can't get there must faster no matter how fast you want to drive.

Many thanks to the many posters who have provided information on
how to maximize the potential of the Hybrid Synergy Drive from many
different perspectives. Good stuff for newbies to consider and others to
review as the cooler weather comes creeping up us on cat-like feet.

Take care of the DIY things that a Prius owner can do at home like pumping up your tire pressure up to around 38R/40F and learning how to drive the Prius in order to maximize mpg. There are lots of tips in this forum by using the search funciton. Regards.

Ok I filled my tires to 40 psi. I am ajusting my driving habits. It is hard to do with the traffic in Orlando, but this is a good idea I got from you folks. I am sure I will beat 34mpg. It is still 93 degrees,so the a/c stays at 78. Every gas station here has a sign on the pumps saying 10% Ethenol. For the sake of this "Think Tank" I will post results. Thanks for all the tips, and keep up the good work. How do you put a picture by your post name?
