Fuel efficiency: they blinked!

    Hummm, what happened between October and the release of this report on Tuesday?

    I've never bought a fuel efficient car because of anything but my engineering training and background. So regardless of 'public policy,' I'm trying to minimize burning my money up at the pump. I am all for our government agencies, all levels of government, stopping the practice of burning my tax money up at the pump. But if my next door neighbor wants to waste his money, fine by me. The sooner the price of fuel goes ballistic, the better we'll be sitting . . . in our Prius.
