    well, the rain's mostly cleared out, and we've had a very welcome (for me anyway) drop in temperature. still really windy though. it wasn't all that bad really. we've had some spectacular lightning shows over the past couple days :)

    Godiva...Lehrer has ALWAYS been one of my faves...I even have the original VINYL of most of his stuff (and even 2 turntables still in working order!)

    I've got him on vinyl (not the original releases), CD and the book of lyrics (Too many songs by to Tom Lehrer and not enough pictures by Ronald Searl.)

    There is a website with a forum. And Tom is still alive and has even done a rare post.

    Given that I was 4-5 when TW3 was on in this country (LINK), I must confess, the original vinyls came from my parents...but are STILL much appreciated by DH, DS and me. Mom didn't like the set of CDs I sent her...she wants me to record the vinyl, including ALL snap, crackle and pop onto CD for her. I just haven't yet gotten around to getting the computer software that will allow me to do that.

    BAD daughter! :(
