Gap Insurance

    I searched the archives for Gap Insurance and read the pros and cons of this type of insurance. I went ahead and purchased it through my credit union. I figured $250 was pretty cheap for peace of mind even though I'll probably never need it.

    Ended up getting 5.59% rate on the loan from my credit union and I decided to let them finance it 100% and keep my money for now.

    Dont they go by KBB ?

    Prius has a very high value as a used car ... so the purpose is to eliminate the hit of the price dropping right when you drive off the dealers lot...

    I don't think it happens with the prius.
