In the last few months, the mileage on my Prius 2005 has fallen from 40 to 50 in the winter time to about 30 to 35. I have got my car serviced promptly at the intervals recommended by the manual. Any suggestions as to the cause?

When was the last time your 12V battery was changed? They are typically good for 4-5 years.Low temps can lower mpg as well as place more stress on the 12V. Winter tires will low mpg also.

Hey VemVim... We can't answer that question without more details like what year your car is, what type of driving conditions / region you live in and if you're up to date on all required maintenance...
