Gen 1 hydration revisited

    My testing of battery rehydration of Gen 1 modules:
    • rehydration and charge/discharge cycles - returns like new and better capacity
    • FAILED to reseal the water insertion holes
    Today I learned about real plastic welders (set the playback speed to 0.75):


    You will still be faced with the risk of blown "O" rings. This might also be strengthened by the techniques described. Fortunately, only one terminal needs strengthening. Add to this being less stressful after the repair, it should give a battery pack with like-new performance.
