Gen II 1/4 mile time

    My mum has a XW20 (gen 2?) prius and is bragging that it is faster than my non-turbo 1998 Toyota Starlet. I challenged her to a race at the drags but she said no.

    What sort of times have you guys and gals managed on the 1/4?

    My best time was a 18.002 in the starlet.

    Who would win?

    Huh? A Prius running the 1/4 in 11.83? Was that only an 1/8th mile track? 61.44 at the end? Was that the trap speed in mph? If so, there's no way something that does the 1/4 in 11.83 has a trap speed that low.

    Even 400+ hp sports cars can only run in the 12s or 11s...

    I would have to do a search in here to find the exact times I got back in 2006. With temps in 90s I got a best of 17.68 @ 79mph
