Gen II Inverter Coolant Pump on Gen I??

Hey Guys,

My wife and I were leaving town today, when, as we pulled out of the driveway, P3130 and P3125 came on in her Gen I. This is the Inverter Coolant pump.

Looking online the Coolant pump for a Gen I is significantly more expensive then a Gen II, and since we are supposed to be in OR in 2 days, and we live in AZ. I will have to pay dealer prices to get it tomorrow morning.

The two pumps look mysteriously similar. With the exception of the mounting brackets. Has anyone ever done this? Or has anyone compared the two pumps before any closer?

I have fabrication abilities, so fabing up a new mount to hold the Gen II pump would be a piece of cake.
