Gen ii repairs/failures?

    Hi there. This thread is concerning the premium extended warranty. I know that I'm a bit paranoid here as a few of the gurus here recommended against it, but how many here have had actual warranty issues with their GEN II Prius's? What was done and did you have any problem with the warranty?

    My Prius is an 08 with 31,000 miles on it. I gotta act pretty soon.

    I can't leave you with silence. I have the extended 100K warranty also - I was wondering when that kicks in do I have to mention it to the dealer where I have it seviced or will they automatically know?

    I had a minor dash rattle fixed at about 38,000. Other than that, nothing.

    In mine the console cover fabric and the inverter coolant pump were replaced. Now the driver's Sunvisor takes two pushes to stay in the up position, and it's out of warranty.
