Do you want to buy new ones or used ones?

New ones are available on the hybrid automotive site, through PriusChat, or some independent hybrid folks.

Pretty sure used would be just fine, or do they incur excess plug and play damage over time?

    Open to either option really.

Before going the MSRP route I thought posting here couldn't hurt.

Looks like your starting down the path :).

Once the harness is installed, let me know if you want to share a setup(y).

Well, if you buy it through PriusChat a portion of the sale supports Danny, the owner of the forum.

Or through an independent hybrid shop, it supports that small business. (Hopefully one that also supports PriusChat.)

Or purchase direct from Hybrid Automotive and all money goes to Jeff, the guy who owns Hybrid Automotive. (Who supports Hybrid forums like this and others.)

You really can't go wrong however you buy it.

Supporting the PC site isn't a bad idea, as we all know it's time for a server upgrade (would be sad if it went down).

Supporting one of my local shops would also be cool, but there isn't one any closer than Jeff.

Had already decided if I couldn't find one online that I would buy from Jeff directly.

Basically, a few weeks ago I looked over the Hybrid Automotive Dealer Map at every capable reseller, many don't mention the product line or don't list it as something to be sold outside of local installation.. assuming they had a website at all. Maybe this has changed since Jeff's most recent expo foray.

Jeff does installs (so the Bay Area is covered(y)).

PM him and I am sure you'll be able to work something out;).

Most of the independents (me included) drop ship chargers to customers.

So it doesn't t really matter where they live in the country. I've sent them all over the place. As well as installing them at my shop, of course.
