I thought I had read that you should have a flatbed tow the car, but I see in the manual and on here that a wheel lift truck is okay... so this type of truck is okay? :

I believe it is my inverter. The car will go into accessory mode but won't shift into gear, won't let me drive. It appears to go into neutral fine as when I took the parking brake off it rolled a little on its own and told me to shift into P to start it.

I just want to be sure I don't let the car get messed up. Thanks!

Best to get flat bed, the bottom of the car will get scraped up from all the bumps on the road. The car is just too low to the ground

Okay, thanks! AAA said it's no problem to get a flatbed. I wasn't sure if they were going to charge me for that.

Nice doggie! :) The one in my pic is my neighbor's but I had 2 pitties before and they were the best! <3

Disconnect and reconnect the ground wire of your 12V battery and then try to start the car. Try to start three times.

Already had it towed, but thanks! Will try that if the need arises in the future.

Yeah, I did and got the same codes someone else got that had an inverter problem. It was in a "Check Hybrid System" thread posted recently. Thanks!

Ideally, even a regular tow truck should only lift the drive wheels enough to do the job. So, no real danger of bumper scrapes, but you can bet they won't own it if they hit a bump or a steep curb and screw up the rear of the car. I'm surprised they are used for anything these days other than moving total wrecks.
