getting my hands on a accord hybrid

i know many of you are not impressed by the accord hybrid, but i managed to find one at a salvage yard for $ 6000 with leather and navi, i considered that a great deal, since i currently have a scion xa for backup when the other priuses dont work. the scion averages around 30 mpg. now im considering selling the scion for anywhere above 8000 dollars, and buying the accord hybrid simply for the luxury of space and leather.
The damage on the accord isnt too bad, with used parts i calculated a 3500 dollar fix, that includes airbags, windshield, and a hood and bumper, radiator and radiator support.
all im wondering is this a worthwhile decision?

im considering the resale value for both cars, where the scion xa resale is about 11,400, and the accord hybrid has a resale of about 17,560.

also wondering does the accord hybrid have a starter in the case of the hv battery on low SOC.
