Glare when driving at night on Windshield?

    Lately, when driving at night I have noticed a glare from my dash on my windshield right in my line of sight. Is there anyway to alter that glare? Maybe putting some sort of visor extender over it to reduce the glare? I drive a 08 Prius Touring, thanks in advance for any tips!

    Lower the driver seat? Slouch a bit?

    On my 2012 (and past 2010), this glare is a very strong function of driver eye height. Lowering my eye just an inch makes a huge difference, but is bad for my posture and back pain.

    I have now placed a big square of textured flat black fabric on the dash where the glare was being reflected up to the windshield, but haven't been driving enough at night to figure out whether or not it helps.
