GM to recall 1.3 million vehicles for Steering Problem

    GM the latest automaker to issue recall of vehicles

    If automakers can take solace in anything, it's that misery loves company.

    General Motors has become the latest auto manufacturer to issue a safety recall for a number of its vehicles, reporting on Tuesday that 1.3 million vehicles were recalled due to problems with their power steering assist systems.

    Only if they tried to replace the plastic/or wood trim on the steering wheel would fix the problem, just as much as a floor mat would fix uncontrolled acceleration :cool:, then gloat about how much money they saved in internal emails.
