picking up a prius #7 silver for $500 below MSRP. I've never paid anything above invoice for a car. I wonder if this is a good deal and if you think the market is getting saturated for the car? I also think the market has over reacted on gas prices and it will come down as inventories are fairly high.

    tks,

It's a great deal for California. Most dealers sell for MSRP and many still sell for a mark-up of $1500 to $3000. Take the Prius if you're happy with the color and options.

    That is a great deal.

Yes, MSRP is the norm. Except for those dealers that add from $2,000 to $6,000 market adjustment.

If you can get it for $500 under MSRP you're doing very well.

always. the prices hold through simple supply and demand: toyota just can't build 'em fast enough. i understand that there's a pruis factory in the works in phoenix, and once that's built the whole prius economy should shift somewhat.

but really, anything under msrp is a very good deal on a prius.

    cheers

Are you happy with your purchase? :)

Then it's worth everything you paid and more. :D

You could have spent that money on a diamond, then what would you have? :(

A rock out of the ground.

If your spouse needs reassurance, use plenty of romance. It works and is a lot cheaper than jewelry.

    Enjoy your new car. ;)

Anything under MSRP is a deal. The Prius market won't cool off this year.
