    so many great songs, and an amazing voice. i still sing many of them.

    Bill Withers got his fame using the "dual dubbed" voice overs. The thing that made him so good is he sang each track, and matched the tones exactly! His second claim to fame was being able to sing a note for over one minute, most of the time nearly a minute and a half.
