Everybody knows rabbits don't lay eggs.

 

Are chickens born like people?
No, chickens are hatched from eggs.

Are eggs born?
No,eggs are laid.

Are people laid?
Some are, others are chicken.

It was all in the marketing.

Easter and Christmas both have Pagan origins. The Christians needed holidays to replace the holidays the Pagans had celebrated at those times to increase the number of converts.

 

So you are saying that Christians violated their God's 1st and 2nd commandments and named the day of their Lord's resurrection after another Goddess, and perform her rituals on that day... for marketing purposes?

 

I doubt it was called 'marketing' back then.

Are you suggesting all the rituals of Christianity are unique to that religion, with nothing in common with anything that went before it?

Not to overlook that between the two options of:

1) Having your kids look for eggs hidden in a field for treats or.....

2) Having your kids carry a heavy cross through a jeering crowd

Both Pagan and Christian moms would have gone with number 1.
