From an email floating across the Web:

Supreme Court Gives Gore's Oscar to Bush: Stunning Reversal for Former Veep!

Just days after former Vice President Al Gore received an Academy Award for his global warming documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," the United States Supreme Court handed Mr. Gore a stunning reversal, stripping him of his Oscar and awarding it to President George W. Bush instead. For Mr. Gore, who basked in the adulation of his Hollywood audience Sunday night, the high court's decision to give his Oscar to President Bush was a cruel twist of fate, to say the least. But in a 5-4 decision handed down Tuesday morning, the justices made it clear that they had taken the unprecedented step of stripping Mr. Gore of his Oscar because President Bush deserved it more.

"It is true that Al Gore has done a lot of talking about global warming," wrote Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for the majority. "But President Bush has actually helped create global warming."

In another setback for the former vice president, a group of scientists meeting in Oslo, Norway today said that Mr. Gore was growing at an unsustainable rate.

"The polar ice caps may be shrinking, but Al Gore is clearly expanding," said Dr. Hiroshi Kyosuke of the University of Tokyo. The scientists concluded that if Mr. Gore continues to expand at his current rate, he could cause the earth to spin off its axis by 2010, sending it hurtling into the sun. "Here's an inconvenient truth," Dr. Kyosuke added. "Al's got to stay away from those carbs."

I got it when it was passed around on the RAV-4 EV email list. My guts started aching while I read it to my wife, I was laughing so hard.

Its all psychological. Gore is still pouting from 2000. He recently said that he of course would have a smaller carbon footprint if he had been living in the White House - and since he isn't he is going to have a large carbon footprint because he wants to.

Zero - whats zero? his net IQ? no, i no - the numbe of presidential elections he has won  oh no - i no - the # of SCOTUS cases he as won  Or it could be the times he won his home state in a presidential election  or it could be the number of times he signed the kyota protocal while in ELECTED office

or are you referring to his purchase of carbon credits in kumbaya land - so if you are rich enough you can consume 20x the national average of energy and still have zero net carbon production because you can afford to buy the credits. sounds like a typical democrat to me - another limo liberal - do as i say not as i do - hey ain't that algore :p Mr Zero

At least the good doctor is consistent, he's ignoring the facts again. But, what the heck, as Steven Colbert says, facts have a known liberal bias. ;)

    Enjoy! :)

I really dont know who to believe reference GW, I mean Scientists have been wrong before... I know better than to trust someone that doesnt really know, they just make assumptions or researched on what they think is correct.

I read it some place that there is not any record in regards to GW before the 70's/80's era.... B)

As far as Rush, I used to listen to his show during the clinton years, most of what he said was true about clinton & gore.. So what if he had an addiction to pain killers, clinton had a facination for Hummers..
