    Guys...

My front passenger side tyre went boom. I drive a MK1 Prius make
    1998.
The front tyres are different from my back. Here are the specs:
    Tires:
    1. Yokohama DNA ES 02 (Front Tyre)
    165/65/R15/81WY
    2. Bridgestone BA 381 (Back Tyre)
    165/65/HR15/81S

It's very difficult to obtain this tyre in New Zealand. Infact I had
been unsuccessful. Can anyone suggest any other types which you might
    have used?

Please note in MK2 (year 2000 model) they changed the size of the tyre to 175/ 65/ HR14.

    Many thanks

And they changed it yet again in 2004.

    Hmm, aren't 165/65R15s a rare combo?

You could change all of them to the 175/65R14s since you know they will fit.

    Hi Hannah,

I also have a 1998 Prius. Live in Paraparaumu. I have also been checking out tyres for this model. Firestone can get the original Bridgestone 165/65r15 for you.

If this message is too late for helping you, what size did you end up with?

    Cheers

    Tony
