Got Our New Prius!

We picked up our brand new, had to order from Toyota, Silver Pine Mica (Package #2) Prius from Wilder Toyota in Port Angeles, WA. We had waited almost a month for it to come in, because they couldn't trade with any other dealer in the region to get us the exact model we wanted. It ended up being very well worth the wait. We took our first trip with it last night, 120 mile round trip and averaged 46 MPG. I'm sure that will improve in time, with learning how to drive it better to take advantage of the technology, and also the fact that it's got some break in time ahead.

So far, very impressed with the car as a whole. The seats are comfy, the controls are pretty easy to get a hang of, and it simply feels good to drive this car. One thing that was a pleasant surprise was the fact that if you need power, it's got plenty of power. Passed a few cars at close to the speed limit as though they were parked!

We're excited about the Prius and can't wait to drive drive drive, MORE!
