Glad to see not all those cops speeding to their lunch breaks etc. get away with it.

There are certain jurisdictions where LEOs won't let others LEOs get away with anything. Here in California, CHP officers will ticket a CDCR officer in a heart beat for any type of moving violation.
That FHP had probable cause to pull the MPD over. She thought the police cruiser was stolen. The MPD is traveling over 50MPH above the speed limit without lights or siren. He could have probably gotten away with 15MPH maybe 20MPH over the limit. The MPD was cited with misdemeanor moving violation for going 120mpg? damn, if that was anyone else, it would have been a felony, car impounded, license suspended and the driver jailed.

He thinks because he's a cop, he can drive 120 mph on a busy freeway while off duty. As a cop, he should be setting an example of safe driving, not recklessness. Instead of a misdemeanor, he should have spent a year or two in jail. And he should permanently lose his driver's license.
