Well I've had my 2005 Prius just over two weeks now. I was averaging between 49 and 51 mpg when it was warmer, 50's and 60's, now that it is colder, 40 and below I've been averaging 47 mpg.

I had to laugh at a commercial today. It stated "and the Buick gets 30 mpg.", LOL.

Anyway, I checked my tires, and they were at 30 psi, front and back. I do believe they are all weather tires. Now, will those get through a WI winter alright, because I really can't afford 4 snow tires. Thanks.

Factory setting is 35/33 so they're already underinflated.

    Congrats on your purchase!

Check the max. cold pressure posted in fine print, and press them too that. Your FE should improve even more? H
