Has anyone bought something to hold aftermarket floor mats in place?

I got some generic rubber floor mats and work pretty well but the drive side always slides around. I'm sure I can goto the hardware store and figure something out but in case someone already found the perfect solution. Maybe something with tiny short spikes that grip the carpet that can be hot glued to the bottom of the mat?

Has anyone tried gluing heavy duty velcro to the bottom of a rubber mat?

There should be some small hooks in the carpet that hold the OEM mats from sliding forward.. Not sure if there is on your 2010 tho. I never had any luck with the generic rubber mats so I went with the Husky all-weather mats. Fits great, no movement and covers almost the entire floor. Great for the back when you have two kids under 7... LOL :ROFLMAO:

That's great I didn't even think of using the holes(there's a joke in there somewhere). I can probably get some kind of plastic anchor and either glue to the mat or cut a hole. Thanks for pointing those out.

The car comes with hooks. Are they missing? If so, there's a place in the sheet metal they attach to, and the hooks would have a Toyota parts number. Are there holes in your mats?

Oh wow that's awesome. I can easily put a couple holes through the rubber aftermarket mats and it will hold like stock. Thanks so much

There should be pre-cut slits in the carpet, and holes beneath in the floor, ready for those clips. There might be instruction from Toyota too, included with the clips.

Get husky liner floor mats. They’re a super hard rubber comes in driver passenger and the back is all one piece. They make one for the trunk area too
