Has anyone heard if Toyota will add remote start for 2017? Dealer says 2012-2016 not compatable.

    According to my dealer, the 2016 version of Remote Start is not compatible with the 2017v. Has anyone had RS installed on their '17?

    seems odd, since th 10-15 are third gen, and 16-17 are fourth.

    Prius v are not (yet?) 4th Gen.
    That makes me wonder what changes were made for 2017 Prius v vs. the earlier Gen 3 versions.

    I just checked out that site and it's an after market product which would make me nervous about warranty issues. The Toyota parts person that did the research said there must have been some change in the '17 but he didn't know what.
