Has anyone seen SpeedRacer on line?

    I haven't seen SpeedRacer on line nor any posts by him, since the BIG earth quake in Japan... just wondering if anyone else has....

    Hmm. That's a really good question. According to his profile, that last visit was Sun Oct 24, 2004 9:36 pm. When was the earthquake? Was it near Ngo? How astute of you to realize this, Bob.

    I haven't heard from him recently either. He does travel a good bit between the US/Japan, though. Is this when he said he would be in San Fran?

    The earthquake story I read was filed from Nagaoka and mentions "tens of thousands of residents in the rural, mountainous region of Niigata had to camp in shelters for days, waiting out torrents of rain that touched off several landslides." 30 were reported dead and more than 3,000 injured.

    All in all, a very sensible time to turn off your computer, if not your Smart Key System. Hope he's all right.
