Hayward (CA) Toyota customers: Check your "motive power"

    Make sure your paperwork says MP="Q" (hybrid) not "G" (gas).
    If you bought from Hayward Toyota this was probably coded incorrectly and you will have to get a DMV "statement of fact" form to fix it before you can receive your green HOV stickers!
    They told me today that at least 100 customers have had this problem.

    I had the same problem with Toyota John Elway in Manhattan Beach.

    I know Hayward Toyota. Fairly small dealership. Area is so small, I don't take mine there for service, not much room to maneuver cars. Fremont much bigger, but I'm used to Piercey service.

    Did you have to resubmit your sticker application? If so, how long did it take after you resubmitted?
    I've been waiting (impatiently!) for a bit over a month now.
