I am working on replacing the headlamp in my 2008 Prius (driver's side). I am unable to remove the boot. Any hints. One post said to turn it counter-clockwise. Another said clockwise. I cannot budge it either way.

I just did this last week. Quite difficult. I first had to remove the cover of the fuse box to have more room for my hands. Also, try standing on the side of the car instead of at the front. That will give your hands a more natural position for turning. Counterclockwise to remove the boot. Can be sticky at first but it'll turn eventually.

    Good luck.
