I got a used prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon) but the brake feels heavy compared to my ford fusion. I don't know if this is normal or not. Does eco mode have effect on this too?

Best bet would be to try another v at the dealership, if you can. I've not noticed any difference in brake feel, with the different modes.

The brake is pretty much "fly-by-wire", so there's really no "feel" to it. If you're seeing normal regenerative braking indicated on the dash, and the car stops as expected, its all good. It works the same in all driving modes.

I like the feel of ours, very linear, solid. Only thing, just once in a very long while, at it seems to have stopped now: the brakes will be super grabby, in reverse, just at start up, 'til you get rolling forward.
