My lifetime average at 29k miles is 46.8. I've been getting over 50 mpg with the warm weather for the last month.

FWIW I get 45+ MPG around town and 39+ at interstate speeds, eg. 70-75 MPH. This is on a 2016 Prius v Three...

No question you have to love the cargo space, particularly with the second row seats down, plus the leg room in the second row seating with them up...

Depending on the amount of extra space you need, you may want to look at the standard Prius Liftback, especially Gen 4, or the Prime plugin that gets even higher mileage.
The Prius v has a mileage penalty compared to the rest of the Prius family due to its weight, My son moved from a Gen 2 Prius to a 2015 Prius v a couple of years ago. I think he expected the mileage to be a little higher than he gets, but he needs the extra space when taking his dogs to dog shows.

If you are looking for a used Prius, @jerrymildred knows of an excellent hybrid used car dealer in Florida.

    Thanks, Jerry.
I do not see a Prius v but I see a "Toyota Prius Highlander Hybrid"

In my experience, the v gets EPA figures easily without any special driving tricks. My fuelly calculated MPG will be below this post and I'd bet half the miles are interstate 65-70 MPH and half local runs to the stores that are 4-10 miles away over a route that has 55 mile up/downhill stretches, with some slower stop light infested stretches.

I have to make a trip 250 miles from NC to DC and carry two walkers, a shower/over-potty chair and a electric ice machine for a knee replacement friend. Would all that fit in my wife's Avalon along with two people and two suitcases? Nope. But the v will swallow it easily and get 42+ MPG at highway speeds with cruise control most of the way. Another v and Prius fastback are in my extended family each owned for different purposes. The fastback for commuting has 140k+ miles, the v for 2 adults, 3 kids and stuff for a week vacation.

Good catch! Two good catches, actually. I saw that "Prius Highlander," too. Todd must be in a hurry. I got misled by his title, "2011 TOYOTA PRIUS HYBRID V(FIVE)." The old 5/V/v mixup that Toyota gave us. Oops! All I had to do was just look at it. :D

Edit to add: I'm kinda liking the look of that 2014 PiP with only 30k miles, but it's a little dear for me, so I'm saving for a Gen 4 or Prime for when the wife's '07 finally cashes in it's chips. Which my bank account HOPES is a long time from now.
