HID article

    I thought this was interesting. I always wondered how they got high and low beam with the same 35 watt. I looked at my Prius, and it looked like the reflector moved in and out as opposed to the socket moving up and down... pretty cool technology.

    i like the system the prius uses. the reflector moving seems to work well. we do get a little upshine though. many experiance this with HIDs because they blind people when your "lows" are on. Some people with the normal hologen experiance this too.

    overall.. i like our system more :)

    Hmm, February 2005? It's a little behind.

    "...reflectors that track steering wheel movements
    to “shine around the bend.†These lights are ready now, but actual production hasn’t started yet."

    Aren't they available on the GS, RX, LS and new IS?

    The Tucker had this in the 50's. I thought I would die before this was brought back to market.
