    Hi
    I order a 6k h11 35 watt kit from ddm
Do I need a canbus kit?
    Or anything special
Also will a 55watt kit work

I'm not sure on your first question because I think I got one with built in error correction.

55 watt will work but IMO 35 is better since it takes less power than stock and is still a lot brighter, plenty bright enough. A 55w system will burn out your bulbs faster too.

The Prius doesn't need CANBUS kit.
I use 55 watt ballasts... they're nice and bright compared to the common 35 watt kits.

Also a high quality 35w kit can be brighter than a cheapy 55w kit. It can really depend on the components involved.

And likewise a good quality 55w kit is almost as good as the OEM Prius LED headlights.
I've had both now and the 55w kit from The Retrofit Source is just a smidge below the OEM Prius LED's, but head and shoulders over a good quality 35w kit.

No doubt a good 55w HID setup is going to be super bright. I opted for 35w because that is already brighter than the stock halogens, and it's lower than stock power savings, and also 55w HIDs burn out the bulbs a lot faster.

I find my 35watt kit to be just as bright as OEM HID's if not brighter. Based on memory, the 35watt kit is just as bright as Prius 5 LED but the LED has a better spread of the beam due to projectors.

I have the Xenon Depot Volt kit. Only issue I've had with it was the bad connection due to pin on wire harness. They replaced it under warranty after numerous emails.

With the discount code, it's hard at that price point!
