Wow, the politcal maneuvering and dirty politics seem to be reaching high gear in the 2008 presidential election and it is only February of 2007. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out. I wonder when the Clinton camp will drop whatever dirt they have on Barack Obama. I am sure they will want to wait at least until it is actually primary season. It will be tough to attack Obama without alienating millions of very important voters in the general election.

Love it, love it, love it.

hilary has everything to lose while b. hussein obama has nothing to lose at all. funny thing would be if they knock each other out - that would be sad. i am praying obama gets the nod to run - we would be better off with rudy in the oval office and that would be the easiest way for that to happen.

I don't know which of the two I like more. I would be fairly happy with either of them in office, and they are both electable.

Hillary is a freaking socialist.. It will be very disappointing if the first woman President is her pitiful excuse for a human. I can't stand her. Her ideals on politics and issues are TERRIBLE. She is a gun-grabbing, socialistic, anti-Constitutional, hag of a woman.

Her and Tipper Gore and go burn/ban some more books together.

I can't believe some people actually like this woman, liberals mostly.. With their fairy tail ideals and short-sighted policies.

It sickens me that people are stupid enough to actually fall for her garbage.

Ah, if only she were! I'd vote for her. Sadly, she's a capitalist through and through just like everyone else in both major political parties.

As opposed to the gun-grabbing,short-sighted, anti-Constitutional fascist now in the White House?

It sickens me that people were stupid enough to actually fall for his garbage.

The ONLY thing Bush has done right as far as I'm concerned is lifting the Assault Rifle ban. He definitely isn't a "gun-grabber", unlike the Democrats.. who have some sort of inability to understand the 2nd Amendment.

Other than that, Bush is also a short-sighted, Anti-Constitutional, Fascist scum dog. He is arguably one of the worst Presidents our fine nation has ever seen.

Bush isn't Conservative.. Republicans are no longer the Conservatives.. they've gone money-spending wild just like the Democrats.

It is all a sad joke.

I meant gun-grabber in the literal sense. Grabbing a gun. Being a hawk. He may not be shooting at people literally, but his orders have resulted in the same thing.

More like going off half cocked.

And the stupidist thing he did was lift the assault rifle ban. Anyone that needs an Uzi to kill a deer doesn't deserve to be a hunter.

And read the entire 2nd amendment. National Guard yes. Private munitions stockpile no. (No, I do not think my neighbor should be able to go out and buy a grenade launcher. Especially without registering that he owns one or going through a thorough background check. And a waiting period to find out if someone that wants a grenade launcher is a wacko nutjob? Uh...YES.) There's a difference between a collector and an arms dealer. Anyone that can't wait for a waiting period or has a problem with registration shouldn't own a weapon. They are exactly the people who shouldn't own guns.

"Canned-Hunt" Cheney should be allowed within 20 feet of any weapon, loaded or not. Even when no lawyers are present.

They should agree to play nice and end up as pres. and vice-pres depending on how it all votes out.

While I think the lift on the Assault Rifle ban was stupid, it wasn't the stupidest thing he's done. I'd say it's about 10th or so on the list.

And, coming from a long line of hunters, I wholeheartedly agree with your estimation of who should be a hunter and who shouldn't. And while I'm seriously afraid of this thread going into a place for NRA (No Reality Accepted) members to start flaming/trolling, I appreciate your comments.

hearing lots of things about lieberman coming all the way over to the republican party as a vp candidate - which is a brilliant move for all the reasons we both can think of.

i love rudy - i thought he was MAGNIFICENT during 9/11 - was one of my best mayors ever - made tough decisions - is pro-abortion (like me), is pro-strong security (like me) - has tons of real life experience. he is kind of like a scoop jackson democrat - my favorite type. i would vote for him in a heartbeat and even moreso if lieberman where #2.

the only downside to that combo is that they are both east coasters and lieberman is Jewish which will turn some people off. however if might be viewed (SADLY) as the lesser of two evils by some ding dongs if there is a minority candidate like b. hussein obama on the other ticket. i think he would lose more votes if he is even the vp candidate than lieberman would lose - how freaken sad but probably true.

I will take some heat for this but it was emailed to me awhile back, pretty funny.

    Speaking of brooms....

    Hillary Clinton Narrowly Escapes Death
The Dissociated Press reports that New York junior Senator, Hillary Clinton, narrowly escaped injury in the aircraft that she was piloting when she was forced to make an emergency landing in southern New Jersey because of bad weather.

National Transportation Safety Board officials have issued a preliminary determination that pilot error contributed to the accident, and that the Senator was flying a single engine plane in IFR (instrument flight rating) conditions while only having obtained a VFR (visual flight rating) rating.

The absence of a post-crash fire was likely due to insufficient fuel on board. No one on the ground was injured.

The photograph below, taken at the scene, shows the extent of damage to Senator Clinton’s aircraft. She was very lucky!

I would vote for that ticket in a heartbeat. We need some main-stream pragmatic people to lead this country! Rudy was on Larry King the other night and he stole the show. A great guy that can get the job done.

that not too anti-Semetic is it - or is that just anti-Israel prejudice you are eloquently expressing.
and what about all the Italians you just threw under the bus. you might as well go for the gusto.

what we have here is an equal opportunity bigot!

How do you feel about B. Hussein Obama running?? Cant wait for this one.

It's really funny how you keep using Barack's middle name. Did you know that Hussein means "handsome one?"

I guess you're really saying "Be Handsome One, Obama." Maybe you've got a little crush?
