I was hit from behind at a red light. A teenager behind me in a grand cherokee was reaching over for his food and let go of his brake... I don't see any visible damages on either car. Should I have the dealer check for any internal(especially hybrid battery) damages, or should I not worry about it?

If there are no cracks, dimples or misalignments of the bumper cover, then everything is fine. Cars are engineered to have low speed bumper-bumper hits without damage. There is a piece of styrofoam between the bumper cover and reinforcement bar that will absorb the energy. The hybrid battery is so far from the back bumper that even a serious collision will not harm it.
