Hood Damper/Strut Kit for GenII Prius?

    Are there any hood kits (OEM or aftermarket )that get rid of the stupid arm to lift the hood and use pistons/dampers/struts?

    I am required to raise my hood 4-5 times a night for security inspections, and that bar is extremely annoying.
