PriusChat is growing like gangbusters and we continue to exceed our allotted bandwidth every month. I'm investigating various alternatives and was wondering if anyone on the site had any suggestions or connections for some good hosting.

    Just kicking around some ideas...

Well, what is your current bandwidth?

Here's one a friend suggested recently that includes 40GB of transfer. He also hosts a phpBB on it. They might have other deals for more bandwidth as well.

That is a pretty good deal, but there is no better hosting company than the one that I have been using for a long time for my site (http://www.pizcofilms.com). I host a phpBB forum there (which was inspired by priuschat) and have tons of space.

The company is INFINOLOGY. Their servers are ALWAYS up, they give you 9 GB of storage and 50 GB of monthly traffic for 6.95 PER MONTH!!! I know, i thought it was a gimmick too! But, it is true. This is the PERFECT place for priuschat to host their site. The link to this insane deal is below. Click on it and you will be amazed!

    Pete -

Can you provide me with a direct link to a large file (10 MB or more) that you are hosting so that I can gauge their speed?

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm still sorting through the options.

Sure, no problem. I would love to help my favorite website ever! Here is a link to one of my little movies on my website...
