YES at 11.466 it's a lot faster than Tesla's reported 12.7 1/4 mile or as seen with owners.... numbers that are more around 13.3 sec in real life.

    ;)

Impressive. Especially on a body not designed for extreme speed or acceleration.

its a lot faster, but at the same time, you can drive your Tesla home after a hard day at the track, this car is one, not street legal, and 2, has specially designed battery packs with a pretty small shelf life because of the extra high output they undergo.

but still, nevertheless, a pretty illuminating view of what an EV can do if money is no object... and lets face it, in drag racing, money is usually not a problem. i wonder what a team with the big bucks would do against top fuel dragsters

Clearly, it would blow them away.

Ronaele, a builder of high-performance Mustangs, and an outfit I looked into briefly when I was searching for a conversion shop, says that the only limit to the acceleration of an EV is figuring out how to keep the wheels on the ground.

(I ended up looking elsewhere because the Mustang is built by Ford, a notoriously low-quality car company, and because there are other cars much nicer looking.)
