For $2300 we got the 7 year/100000 mi platinum, plus the all the sceduled maintainence: oil change at every 5000 mi up to 55k(that's 11 services at $69 each), and all major services at 15k, 30k, and 45K(at $350 each).

    Well, let's add it up.

$1000 (more or less) for the Platinum coverage (available here on Prius Chat)
$ 759 for eleven oil changes at $69 each
    $1400 for four services

    $3159 total

You can save at least $30 per oil change at any of the grease monkey, jiffy-lube, etc places
    -$330

    $2829

    you did ok

Actually, I'd say not so much. You could get the same package through PC for $990 + $670 = $1660.

    $990 7/100 Warranty - http://priuschat.com/Discounted-Toyota-Pri...acts-t3130.html

    $670 for the 4 year/ 55,000 mile Premium Plan. MSRP $995. - (same thread)

Feel free to donate the other $700 to the site :)

$350 for the 15K and 45K services? Ridiculous. And you can get oil changes in most urban areas for between $20 and $30. I pay under $10 to do it myself.
