Fixed pattern has made itself very annoying.....can't get rid of it, and my windshield is used to shoot through for LIVE TV broadcasts, so this is a problem for me. Any idea what it is, or what can get rid of it? Stoners Liquid Glass isn;t doing anything to it. Those swirls are not from me trying to clean it either. See YouTube clip below.

Delamination? If still under warranty, get a new one. If not under warranty, get a new one.

Clean the inside. Or if not, replace it.

Kind of looks like acrylic wax. Try a acrylic stripper (Zep at Home Depot) carefully - don't get on anything else or a solvent like acetone. You could also try some "Goof-off" Professional Strength (composition attached) which is mainly acetone. Only use the liquid version on a rag. Don't use a spray on. These will strip paint and burn.

Try one of the acetone or solvent solutions mentioned above in a small area near a corner - avoiding paint or rubber and also make sure that the problem isn't on the inside of the windshield.
Since you live on the left coast, you may not be familiar with something called humidity.
(It's moisture in the atmosphere----try using the defroster.) ;)

OK...so if the problem really is on the outside of the car's windshield, then replace the glass, especially since you say you make your living with this car. If it's a work car like mine, and the bean counters at your station won't authorize a replacement, then use a brick and blame it on protesters that your editors don't like. It's not like you have to be truthful all the time-----riiiight? :D
