How do I determine which model

    Ok have had my Prius since July, I am looking for seat covers, after market gadgets etc. How do I figure out which model, trim I have? I apologize for the stupidity of the question.

    You used to be able to register on the official Toyota Motor Corp. Web site and get that exact information.

    But, I tried last week and had LOTS of problems. They may have fixed it by now. You could give it a try. You need your VIN.

    If not, your local Toyota dealer can and should be able to give you a printout for free.

    I can't find the trim level for either of mine there. But it's still really useful.

    Oh I am registered there, I love that place, I can look up the entire service record there but alas no trim info. Jerrymildred I have to look at that download on the computer and try to suss it out from there, thank you for your download.

    The seats are the same for all models -- as it relates to seat covers. There are leather and fabric coverings, but the seats are otherwise identical.

    I swear, they used to have the entire "sheet" for your individual model available (or maybe I imagine they did). doesn't matter, I got a copy from the local dealer. The one I had was in the glovebox and mice peed on it.
