How do I get rid of that Oil Maintenance message?

Thanks for posting. I'm interested in this fix too. FWIW, my Prius III has the touch screen and the oil message seems to be independent of what I programmed into the car's maintenance calendar. The car had its first oil change at 6 months (about 3500 miles). Now that the car is approaching 5000 miles the oil maintenance message shows upon start up.

 

1. Refer to the owners manual.

2. Do a search of Priuschat.

 

I just did this yeaterday. Turn the trip to (Trip A) then turn the car off. Push and hold the MPH/KPH as you turn the car on hold the MPH /KPH button as your car resets

-Trip A feature
then hold the mph/kph button (WHILE CAR IS OFF).

-Turn on car (while still holding the mph button). You will probably need to hold it for 5-8 seconds.
