how do I get vxdiagnano to work

Looks to me like you guys got scammed......and were sold a "pirated" copy of the software that is basically useless without the legal registration information that you get with a valid copy........at a MUCH larger price.

 

What a bummer.......Now I'm also concerned if my paypal account got/is hacked..Anyway thanks for responding

 

As I understand it, the 'pro' level of techinfo subscription is what you need to get an official enabling key for Techstream. That's $55 for two days (compared to $15 for the standard subscription that gives access to the manuals and library but no key for the software).

If the seller was promising a Techstream version that would work without a key, $55 is disappointing, but might still compare favorably to a dealer appointment and all the fuss of getting there, waiting, etc.

Can you not contact the VxDiag support people and have them help you through the issues you are having?

 

The other big surprise is they advertised free shipping,however my card got hit for an additional $65.00 for postage..So $110.00 and back to square 1..What I was looking for was an inexpensive tools to give me codes,then planning to track codes via this forum..Not being mechanic by trade,and limited funds,this seemed the patient way to gh well..

And you are going to do NOTHING about that ?
I think you should dispute the ENTIRE charge and make them come after YOU for the money.......instead of just accepting both scams without a fight.

 

That legitimately stinks, and if you can show it and you paid through PayPal, I don't even think there's a question you'll get reimbursed. PayPal's dispute policies are pretty well laid out.

Well it has to be sent back to HongKong for starters,where it now cost me $23.00 to send it back for starters,and then to return policy states only partial refund on returns,which I agreed to by "clicking" to confirm order..Make no mistake,I've gone down in flames over much less when I was younger..But at 63 I'm not going to China to burn the place down!! It doesn't mean I'm not pissed off,it simply time to cut my losses.Thanks

OK.....and if previous experiences didn't ..........at 63 has THIS experience taught you anything about saving a few pennies by buying direct from China ???? It certainly SHOULD have.
