I posted a similar question on the general board which didn't receive a response.
Can anyone generalize about how long it takes a car to arrive at a dealership in the midwest after arriving on the west coast?
When would you guess we'd get a VIN number?
    Thanks for any responses-

It took about three days for ours to get to Chicago on the train, then a couple of days to get trucked to Detroit. As for the VIN, the dealer can give you the VIN number when the car is on the boat.

Sounds like your car is in "F status". Mine took a week or so to get to the midwest from the coast. Shouldn't be too long for ya. Have fun with your car! :)

Hmmm. "F" status. Gotta wonder about that! <_<

Actually I'm jealous as I had to wait a heck of a long time (translation: well over a month) for my magnetic grey. OK, OK, that was a year ago, TheOtherGoose, but still...
