Looking to replace the inverter coolant as well as radiator coolant in my 2013 V. I have been watching the vids and looks simple enough but they dont seem to mention amounts. How many jugs of the toyota coolant should doing both take? thanks in advance

This is what out of our 2010 Prius hatchback, think it'd be about the same:

    - engine coolant drain: 4.25 liters roughly
    - inverter coolant drain: 1.5 liter roughly

You'll be good with 2 US gallons.

Ok perfect, does anyone know if these two coolants are the same? They both say super long life and both say they are pink. I was at the dealership yesterday and they wanted $36 each and it appeared to be cheaper online since I have some other parts to order and should be able to get free shipping 2D6C5711-DDC2-40A5-B012-13AE7B219668.png 0534E19D-D436-40B7-92DE-A05E010EBE32.png 2D6C5711-DDC2-40A5-B012-13AE7B219668.png 0534E19D-D436-40B7-92DE-A05E010EBE32.png 2D6C5711-DDC2-40A5-B012-13AE7B219668.png 0534E19D-D436-40B7-92DE-A05E010EBE32.png

Look to be; no nearby dealership, save the shipping?

Be a little cautious, does that yellow cap mean yellow coolant?

They changed the jug and label design a while back. One of those looks like the older jug. As long as it says Toyota super long life coolant, it's the stuff.

The Prius v probably uses a bit more coolant in the inverter loop than the Gen 3 liftback, because the v covers up the additional (purple) space on the transaxle here with a cover and hose nipples and includes it in the coolant path, where in the liftback only the green area is used.
