Gut your Prius, reinforce the chassis, do an engine swap. Then you'll have the best of both worlds, power to boot AND a car with a better drag coeffecient than a Vette. Then there's the little annoying detail about fuel consumption and immesions. All kidding aside, buy your wife a Prius and you guys will double cool!

    Best of luck.

    With a .29cd, 30mpg freeway and a 12sec 1/4mile stock the '97-'05 C5s were not so bad for a sports car. :p

Buy an old junker Corvette, restore the body to pristine condition, throw out the engine, and install an AC Propulsion electric drivetrain. Then you'll have a really cool car! I'd even offer to buy it from you.

No, no no. You want the Lexus GS450h. Great power that comes with great economy (so to speak).

Or, you could do something totally different: buy a C4 Corvette, yank the L98 or LT1 (depending on the year 'Vette you buy), and drop in a Buick 3.8L turbo motor. I know, I know, that's Corvette blasphemy, but they make some awesome power and still manage decent economy.

    Just my $.02
