I've installed my front seat covers and my rear drivers side back upper.

I can't find out how to remove the rear seat...don't want to break it.

Any tips on something so easy I'm obviously missing it???

there are two "eye hooks" on the front left and front right of the seat.

pull up and they will unclick.. then there are little hooks in the back. keep pulling the front up, you'll see how the back uhooks.

Thanks. Got the rear seat out. Found the little eye and hook at the back center that needs to be unhooked to pull seat cushion out.

    Here's the front:

yeah man...those are nice.....we have been looking for some but because of the way the seats are upholstered you cant use standard seat covers. you know what i mean? the back is covered all the way down and theres no place to pull that tab through to connect the hooks.

Front Seat Back Has Shield/Flap That Unhooks/Hooks

    Hi Tasker,

If you're talking about the front seat backs, they do not permanently go all the way down. The bottom of the front seat backs is a shield or flap that has a straight plastic hooking bar that hooks onto (and unhooks from) the upholstery wire/springs underneath the seat.

What you do is go under the seat and unhook that shield/flap; then tuck in and pull through the seat bottom covers tab that you seem to be talking about; then you re-hook that front seat back shield/flap onto the upholstery wire/springs underneath the seat.

EDIT: WARNING - Beware of sharp metal underneath the seats. You should be careful and wear gloves if you can.

The seat covers are Wet okoles. I bought off a user here that sold his prius.

    The floor mats are WeatherTechs.

A little fiddling around during the install and they work great. The floor mats are awesome.

No more complaining about dirty soccer cleats in the car's back seats anymore.

To remove the back seat do I have to remove any bolts or do it just come out by releasing the clips. I too am installing seat covers on my 2008 Prius.

I used a flat bar between the seat bottom and the chassis lip, to the inside of the clips, slipped in about 6" it gave much better leverage, after 7 years those clips were not coming loose just by using my fingers under the seat.
