Hi all, is it possible to actually change the mileage that dictates when the oil change reminder light comes on on the dash? I’d like to reset mine to come on at 4000 miles. Thank you for any upcoming help offered.

AND with most models, it comes on every 5K miles, or a bit before, to indicate it is time to rotate tires.
That should be close enough for your chosen oil change interval.

The Toyota system is just a dumb miles counter. I would educate yourself about the schedule, and fugedabout the in-dash alert, just ignore it. Canadian Prius don’t have it, food for thought.

    Thanks again all,Yes I understand.
For years on all my other cars,I’ve always just wrote it under the hood with a felt pen and wiped it off with BrakeKleen ...
date, mileage and what kind of oil.
Also, can anyone share with me an easy way to simply change the coolant ,IE; I’m guessing it’s just draining the reservoir & the lower tank on the radiator.?
I’m hoping it just like “doing” a good old small block Chevy in a ‘65 Nova if you will..... Thanks again.

The "Maintenance Required" screen comes on temporarily when within ~500 miles of the 5000 mile mark. Once it reaches the 5000 mile mark it will stay on until reset. The mileage interval cannot be adjusted. The reset procedure for the 2010 is in the Owner's manual (see attached.)
