I turned off the backup beeper today and was under the (wrong) impression that the procedure also turned off the seat belt beeper. Could someone please direct me to the instructions for turning off the seat belt beeper?

    Thanks!

Rangerdavid, thanks, I didn't read down far enough when I went there the first time. I don't ever drive without a seat belt, but my dog rides in the passenger seat and is constantly moving around, setting off the beeper at various times during our trips. :)

Your dog rides in the front passenger seat ?
I'd suspect that the law requires him [the dog] to also be seat belted in ??
He'd make a huge hole in your windshield if you had to suddenly stop.

It wouldn't do the dog much good either.

I always felt better with the dog in a harness, securely tethered in the back seat.

When I have heavy stuff in the passenger seat I just fasten the seat belt together so it doesn't beep before I put the stuff there. Would probably work for your dog, too.

If you want to turn off the passenger seat warning, make sure to sit in it when you go through the process of buckling and unbuckling the belt.

I just did this and it's quite tricky trying to do this by yourself. ;)
